Most houses that were built a long time ago usually come with a few creaks and sounds. This is especially the case if the property has wooden floors or ceilings. The family thought about this when they first heard the sound, which they soon realized was actually coming from inside the walls.

The mysterious noise aside, everyone in the family was very happy with the large home. It had been a dream come true for them to live in one of the classic Germantown homes, which were rich with history and had many stories to share.

For the first few weeks, the family only heard the strange sounds here and there. As each member of the household heard it alone, they brushed it off as part of the way the house was built. Perhaps a more unified approach would have been taken had multiple members heard it simultaneously.
