Through all of this strange and annoying tension, all that Tracy wished for was a clean slate to start a new relationship with Gina. There really was no need for them to be constantly at odds, and Tracy hated to think that this would be the rest of her life with Rick and his mother. To be happy as a wife is one thing, but one must also be content as a daughter-in-law. Amazingly, Gina seemed to pick up on Tracy’s wishes, as she began behaving more respectfully after the younger woman complained to Rick.
