Tracy felt that Gina would have picked any plan that she put forward to pieces, doing her best to control the developments. This was a bullheaded older woman that was only too happy to tear Tracy’s positivity down at every turn. Finally, Tracy knew that they would never be on the same page. Despite how hard Tracy had tried to make things right between herself and her future mother-in-law, she had never warmed up to her.

There are many overbearing mothers who will struggle to accept that their sons are moving on in life, and moving in with another woman. Tracy was clearly one of these possessive mothers, who could not share Rick with anyone, especially not a fiancé. To be frank, Tracy would probably have done her best to scare off any woman that entered her home at Rick’s side. So many otherwise happy relationships were ruined by parents that were far too involved and disruptive.
