Even after crossing the line into body shaming territory, Gina was not finished, continuing to brag how well she was doing on her new fad diet and how Tracy should follow in her footsteps. Admittedly, Tracy was not shy about her recent weight gain, but that did not justify Gina’s inappropriate remarks. Gina was also sure that she would look so much better in her own dress than they could imagine. It was as if the upcoming was all about her, and that the actual couple getting married needed to satisfy her requirements.

There are some people in life that will never warm up to you, no matter how hard you try. Tracy had put her soul into convincing Gina to like and accept her, but it was clear for the nth time that it simply was not going to work. The woman had made up her mind before Tracy had even come into the picture, no woman was good enough for her special boy. At the minimum, Gina could swallow her pride and hide her disdain, but it was clear that the matriarch had no filter.
