As an employee, Paula pointed out during her interview with Mental Floss, that the very popular platform Pinterest can sometimes be to blame for items simply racing off the shelves. “It’s a specific spice rack that we are almost always out of stock of. A couple of Pinterest posts pointed out how handy these were for kids book shelves after a coat of paint. We literally had to turn people away who had come in just for that.”
