Friends suggested that it might be vermin causing the problem, especially since the home was older than some of the others in the neighborhood. A little bit of research told the family to listen out for a “ticking” sound, but this wasn’t what they were hearing.

Aside from not hearing the right sound, the noise was far louder than any vermin could potentially make, even if there was a large infestation lurking beneath the walls. Even so, they thought it would be best to get an exterminator in just to be sure.

It wasn’t long before exterminators showed up at the home, ready to treat all the areas of the house very carefully. They couldn’t say for sure that the problem was vermin-related, so most of the house was sprayed with hopes that the noise would subside.
