Alerting The Neighbors
The family also didn’t waste any time in letting their neighbors know that a beekeeper was coming to inspect the property. Anybody with a bee allergy was encouraged to keep their distance, in case he was going to discover a hive.
As he arrived, David was quick to use all the technology at his disposal to scan for a hive in the walls of the house. He had his thermal camera with him, which detected heat sources and confirmed whether everybody’s suspicions might have been true.
Counting on Technology
Seeing the images he took with the special camera was an exciting experience for the family. A red-lit up area showed a heat source, and at first, this was evident across most of David’s pictures. There was a clear source of movement, so all that was left to do was to trace the entry point.
David knew all the spots to check for the entry point, and in no time at all, he noticed a small ventilation hole in the wall. These were common in houses in the area, as the climate was rather humid. Could this be where the noisy visitors had been coming and going from?
