37. How To Remove Outdated Wallpaper
Old rooms are bad enough as they are, but what makes them worse has to be the outdated wallpaper up on the walls. We think it’s safe to say that any room can be given an uplift with a new wallpaper or better yet a fresh coat of paint. The biggest challenge to this is removing the wallpaper. To remove the wallpaper with ease, mix water and vinegar in equal parts. Next is to soak a paint roller into the mix for several minutes before applying it to the wallpaper a few times.
38. Use Foil To Sharpen Your Blunt Scissors
Just like overused knives that are just laying around in your drawer, scissors also wear off and become blunt. Here’s a hack just for those scissors, before you head out to buy a new pair. All you need for this exercise is aluminum foil. After folding the sheets in half, roughly eight times cut into the foil with your scissors. Acting as a sharpener on the scissors, the foil will leave your scissors looking as good as new.
