Downed Pegasus
Trebizond Airport in Turkey came to a nose-diving standstill on January 13, 2018, when one of the planes veered off the runway and looked like it was headed for a swim in the open sea adjacent to the runway. To the relief of the pilot, crew, and passengers the plane came to a stop before it hit the water, which would have made for far more tragic news. This drone photograph shows just how close the plane was to going in for a watery death and what would have been a rather wet rescue mission, on a lighter note the pilots now probably consider Friday the 13th to be a lucky day for them instead of bad luck! From the looks of this picture, we can say that it was a rather lucky day indeed.
