Downed Pegasus
Trebizond Airport in Turkey came to a nose-diving standstill on January 13, 2018, when one of the planes veered off the runway and looked like it was headed for a swim in the open sea adjacent to the runway. To the relief of the pilot, crew, and passengers the plane came to a stop before it hit the water, which would have made for far more tragic news. This drone photograph shows just how close the plane was to going in for a watery death and what would have been a rather wet rescue mission, on a lighter note the pilots now probably consider Friday the 13th to be a lucky day for them instead of bad luck! From the looks of this picture, we can say that it was a rather lucky day indeed.

The Following Whale
It’s highly likely that this amazing drone photograph will give many movie directors inspiration to start making sea life movies again, surely we all have fond memories of watching movies like free willy ( a movie about a friendly killer whale.) It’s a rather natural shot that captures the beauty of the moment perfectly. This gentle giant was following the unsuspecting sailors for a good fifteen minutes before they discovered their stalker from its watery abode. The sailors were concerned about their safety but it turned out that the whale was rather friendly and was off on his way after a few moments of playtime, or was he simply entertaining the humans?
