Tracy was happy to fill us all in on where Gina was coming from. Frankly, the older woman made it clear that she would spend a cent on righting her wrongs, a cost which Tracy could not even begin calculating. This would need the careful attention of a top seamstress, whose services would not come cheaply. But Tracy would soon get an inkling of what Gina’s real strategy was after having ruined the dress, one that would drive the hurt home.

Gina was not going to apologize. Rather, she was going to finish her hunt. Gina simply informed Tracy that she should never have gone dropped that much cash on a dress to begin with. Your understanding of Gina probably made this response unsurprising, given how stubborn the older woman was. Pinning the blame on Tracy was just one of many ways that Gina maintained her delusion that she was always in the right. No one was buying it this time, however.
