Breakups are often just between the two involved. It’s kept quiet to save everyone the embarrassment that could follow. Of course, sometimes they’re bold declarations. The aggrieved party here actually splashed the cash to have a billboard raised announcing their breakup. Emily didn’t bear all the burden though, she paid for it out of their joint bank account. It’s enough to make anyone reconsider the idea of getting married. At least we got a laugh.
