If you’re going to break up with someone, what do you do? Spend time rehearsing what you’ll say? Prepare mentally? Steel your nerves? Not if you’re this person. They took the advice of Nathan from the superhero show Misfits, and used a superhero quote to break the bad news! The line, in particular, was from the Dark Knight that foreshadowed the picturesque final scene in the trilogy. This guy is certainly no suave Bruce Wayne.

This one is what we’d call a sucker punch. Get this, someone receives the text “ily”. Now they ask the other to “spell it out” thinking it means “I love you”, which it usually does, but not in this case. That’s when the other person hits them with the complete opposite “I’m leaving you”. Couples should be on the same wavelength, but they weren’t in this case… So maybe the breakup was for the best.
