Breaking His Promises
Steven promised that he’d slow down at work, that he’d get stationed closer to home, and actually be around more often. He even said that he may leave the military entirely and find work that would let them be at home all the time. Caroline was very excited and began thinking about the brilliant future for her happy family, however, Steven hadn’t been keeping his promises up until now, and so Caroline started getting upset.
