What is it that these goats are up to these days? Goats are well-known for their ability to mount difficult terrain, however it seems that this is impossible for them to do. Their hooves are separated into two sections, which allows them to spread the halves in order to grab a larger area with more ease than they would otherwise. It is comparable to shoe soles in that they have rubbery pads on the bottoms of their hooves for cushioning.
