Chip and Joanna Gaines are “fixer-uppers” who spend all their days earning a decent profit from renovating people’s homes and giving them the dream home they need. But, after doing all that fixing for people over the years, when they decided to renovate their own home, it turned out to be a little harder than they thought. During the renovation of their house, they came across many historical gems, such as a document dating back to 1895. They didn’t know how old the house was but the possible story surrounding it impressed Joanna the most.

After 18 months of hard work, the little farmhouse was ready to grace the eyes of the world. It was fully upgraded from a two-bedroom to a beautiful home for seven.

The farmhouse sits on over 40 acres of land that the family intends to plant a mini forest and botanical garden. Interestingly, they are hoping to add a few animals to roam the grounds soon.
