Dick Cavett – $33.95 Million, Montauk, Located in New York
TV personality and ex-host Dick Cavett have brought down the cost of his notorious Montauk land — warmly referred to as Cavett’s Cove — multiple times now. The whopping price of $62M for the house was brought down to $48M and was again reduced to $33.95M in January 2019. The entertainer and his late spouse, Carrie Nye, had remade the 7,000-square-foot oceanfront habitation in 1997 after it was completely burnt, just the fireplace. The couple went for a duplicate of Tick Hall believing just photos and their recollections to hit the nail on the head.
