Facing The Other Way
Owls slumber in tree hollows, abandoned houses, stone ledges, and fissures, although they prefer to rest on tree branches with its head tilted backward which is a really odd thing. Furthermore, owls avoid establishing their own nests or relaxing in regions where human activities are too prevalent which obviously is for their safety. there is no clear explanation as to why owls sleep the way they do but purely based on observation, they probably are doing this in order to tuck their heads under their wings which then would secure more heat for it to survive especially on a very cold night.
