In Doubt
It is evident that if a discovery is made, one would definitely have doubts about it and questions the authenticity of the situation. He somehow felt like he was threading into a dangerous zone the moment he entered into the tunnel. But, upon entering the tunnel a second time, his first fears went away as he had a flashlight this time around. But, when the light reached the brace of the walls, he was shocked out of this world as it was like a fairytale playing out in front of him.

The walls had a lot of moisture, and if you had a small knowledge about geography, you could tell the foundations were a bit unstable, so you needed to be careful. With each step he made down the passageway, he heard the footsteps echoing off the walls, and somehow felt it was a little risky. For the best part, Christopher brought extra batteries with him to refill should the first set decide to fail him. He was fully prepared this time.
