Lombard Street
Lombard Street is famous for its eccentric design and for the fact that it doesn’t have any sidewalks. The swirly, whirly road reminds me of a huge snake, slithering its way through town. San Francisco is known as the windy city, windy and windy together, doesn’t make such a great combo. Residents of the street probably don’t mind the drive up or down the street on a normal day but I doubt it would be a good drive after having had one too many drinks, it may feel like more of a roller coaster. I imagine that it would be quite the ride if it were a water slide, but it’s just a road in San Francisco.

California’s Misfortune
Natural disasters are life-threatening in most cases and have the ability to take one’s life in the blink of an eye and change life for others. These poor people in California experienced it firsthand when their homes were burnt to the ground in a wildfire. Wildfires are considered a natural disaster and have had devastating consequences for the communities in the United States. It’s quite sad that these fatal fires can be started by something as small as throwing a cigarette butt out of a car window. This image also shows us the severity of mother nature and that she isn’t to be taken lightly.
