Mohawks
The hairstyle synonymous with punks, mohawks can easily bring a masculine edge to a woman. Sadly, trying to look more like the other team this way is far too outlandish and forced. Well, I suppose that the whole point of a rebellious hairstyle like this is to offend normal people. If that is what you are going for, then, by all means, buy some wood glue and turn your hair into a Roman centurion helmet. We doubt that you will be as respected or feared as a centurion, however.

Updos are difficult to pull off without looking like birds could happily lay their eggs on your head. Still, when you competently but this messy but classy hairstyle together properly, you could end up with something lovely. Of course, even top celebrities like Denise Richard can easily end up looking frightening when their updo goes wrong. This is quite an old-fashioned hairstyle, so if you do try it out, make sure to go full classic Hollywood with your outfit too!
