Dreadlocks
Before you jump down our throats, we want to put a disclaimer here: only white people should be disallowed from going for dreadlocks. This is a significant cultural and sometimes even religious feature of many black groups around the world, and appropriating their hairstyles is a big no-no in today’s sensitive world. If you are a hippy, or a “free spirit,” there are plenty of other ways to express yourself. Sadly, no matter who you are, dreadlocks will often attract the wrong attention from stuffy and backward folks.
Split Ends
We never dreamed that we would have to lecture people on why keeping your split ends is a bad idea, but people never fail to amaze. Yes, some people think that allowing their destructive split ends to hang around is an attractive option. Maybe you want that ‘I don’t follow society’s rules’ chic, but you might wish that you had when your hair starts falling apart after allowing split ends to take over. Ladies, please, as soon as you see split ends cropping up, get them removed by a professional!
