So what did Caroline find in the box that Steven had sent? What was it that was hidden among all that packing material? It was a tiny plastic box. Nothing special to look at. Caroline experienced a little jolt. She wondered if perhaps Steven had sent her a ring. She wondered if he was proposing a renewal of voes. She opened the box, but it didn’t contain a ring. What it contained raised more questions.

In the little plastic box, Caroline found a key with a key ring attached to it in the shape of a red heart. On the little heart shaped item, there was a phrase written on it in Steven’s familiar but very messy handwriting. The phrase said that the key was a key to Steven’s heart. Caroline wonder what the key could be used for. Surely it wasn’t just Steven trying to be cute and clever…
