Dimples On Golf Balls
There are quite a few people who question the whole idea of having a golf ball covered with so many dimples, who do not know what the true purpose of this design is all about. Well, to make it short and simple, golf would not be as “easy” (even though it is already a hard task for many) if there were no dimples on these balls. The dimples manage to increase the balls’ turbulence that somehow create a turbulent boundary that allows the balls to easily travel over certain distances while not having too much drag.

Alcohol Bottles
Many people have stopped wondering why alcoholic beverages come in bottles with longer necks than many other beverage bottles. It is not necessarily weird to think about these differences, as curiosity is a part of every one of us. Apparently, the long necks help to pour the beverage into glasses easier than when pouring other drinks, and the slender design helps to suppress and distribute heat throughout the bottle evenly. Aside from that, though, the long necks help capture the sediments found in the drink, which is probably why many people discard the extreme top of their beverage after opening.
