If you were to take a closer look at some of your packages, you might notice a slight blemish. It could be in either a square or rectangular shape – take a look at the bottom of your toothpaste tube. You may realize their sparkling array of colors is cut short by a block…is it that this was done intentionally? Well, from the look of things, it was deliberately done this way and is known as an eye mark. It was created for machines to know where to cut the container in order for each of them to be even. Just imagine the mess that would be created if they were cut randomly.

Bumpy Keyboard
You use your computer or laptop keyboard every day, and you may have stopped for a bit to realize or take note of a few bumps on keys like F, J, and the number 5. Well, a lot of us may think they serve no real purpose, or it was a manufacturer’s fault, but in reality, they are critical to helping you type efficiently. You can run a test to prove how true this is…with your right and left pointer finger positioned on F and J, respectively, you will notice you can type easily without having to look down on your keyboard all the time.
