Those mobile 1980s musical and personal stereo have not just customizable music utilization, but also small cassette and Record players. Consequently, as a result of contemporary hipsters’ desire for retro products, the market for boomboxes skyrocketed and prices are almost unbelievable.

In the summer of 2019, several of these iconic music players have been bought and sold from various sellers and some of the prices do not make sense if you just look at the item itself. Considering that these “gadgets” are old, some of them are incomplete, or that some of the components are not working properly, still some of them were still able to fetch an average of around $5,000.
