Interestingly, Italy shares borders with four different countries so having a strong military is not an “if” situation but a must. They do have a massive coastline so a strong military is needed to help keep their borders protected. They allocate an estimated $38 billion towards its military yearly – a substantial amount which is an indication that they have a strong manpower force as well as lots of other machinery in place. The total amount of active and reserved soldier count is not available at this time.
