Interestingly, Italy shares borders with four different countries so having a strong military is not an “if” situation but a must. They do have a massive coastline so a strong military is needed to help keep their borders protected. They allocate an estimated $38 billion towards its military yearly – a substantial amount which is an indication that they have a strong manpower force as well as lots of other machinery in place. The total amount of active and reserved soldier count is not available at this time.

Egypt is another country presented here with a strong military status of over 470,000 active members and more than 800,000 soldiers in reserve. This, for sure, is strong manpower and they have added strength from their over 4,624 tanks, 1,133 planes, and an estimated 245 naval vessels. With such a strong force, it is only clear that a strong budget is allocated each year to sustain and maintain the strength of the force.
