Everything as a lifespan. A piece is only timeless if it works. Purchasing furniture can be trying as good quality furniture is expensive. You have to consider the design, the material quality and the guarantees and warranties… If it outlasts the warranties and guarantees, marvelous, it’s a good buy, this probably means you can find a company to recover or repair a good piece of furniture purchased eons ago instead of replacing the whole set.

The age-old dilemma, “which came first, the egg or the chicken”, What do I do first, move-in or paint first? Now if common sense were to prevail, you would move in first and then paint, for the following logic. You already have furniture; chances are you going to have a problem if you paint first and your furniture doesn’t match the theme. So, unless you are painting white to play it safe, settle in first and take things from there, you have a little time considering it’s a new place you’re moving into.
