The Uncertain Future
The deer cries out in agony once again, unsure of what is going to happen to it. And, to be quite honest, we’re a little concerned as well. What exactly is the lioness planning to do with it at this point? The photographer couldn’t help but capture this heart-stopping moment. As mentioned above, lions walk miles and miles to God knows where just to protect their young. Sadly, the photographer was not able to cover the whole journey and left the story with an open ending. The baby deer’s fate remains a puzzle at this time. The last photo shows the lioness walking away with the fawn still between her teeth.
