The Tuscan Look
This was one trend that began taking off in the 2000s, reaching its peak of popularity in 2008. During that year it seemed like almost everyone that had the money was transforming their homes into pseudo-villas. Of course, most people would love to have a sunny villa that would make a Tuscan lord jealous. Sadly, plonking a Tuscan-style villa in the middle of an American suburb is rather inappropriate. Thankfully, we see less and less of these types of homes every year.
