If you want to get rid of popped light bulbs without injury, fetch a potato. Cut it in two, then hold the wet part against the popped bulb and squeeze it in, turning it until it comes loose. Of course, you will want to turn the light switch off before trying this as potatoes are actually also incredible conductors!
