Intimate House
We now know that during the summer holidays, Luke worked on his building project, and in between attending school, he worked hard to raise funds needed for such a task. It took an entire year for him to complete the construction of his home. When his house was completed he certainly utilized it, spending a few nights a week in it. He would invite his friends over to visit and do his homework in his house. A year might seem like a long time to spend on a small house, yet considering all the work it took, it makes perfect sense.
