The Obama Family’s $5.7 Million Washington D.C Home
Anything may seem a little less grand after living in the white house. The white house has an incredible 132 rooms and 35 bathrooms but I’m sure there’s absolutely no privacy, unless you’re in the loo, with being the president and all. The shift must have been quite welcome for the family and they have chosen the prestigious Kalorama neighborhood as home, amongst other retired presidents and ambassadors in equally old but charming houses. The Obama mansion is by no means a matchbox at 8,200 square feet and has five bedrooms, beautiful large windows, and built-in fireplaces. I hope Mrs. Obama has some thick curtains put in as the media are still always looking to get a snap of the family.
