A Hard Time For Caroline
Over at home in the United States, Caroline had no real time to get excited about the present that Steven had sent over for her. She had to tidy the house and look after Jonathan, plus there was the extra work involved in being effectively a single parent. All of this was coming together and working away on Caroline’s nerves. It was all becoming too much to handle. She was very tired of it all.
