The Bigger Picture
Seeing he has done major work on the plane home in Oregon, Bruce is now focused on finishing up the work on the bigger plane he has in Japan. The project started in the early months of 2018 in Kyushu, Japan, and was a spot selected that was soothing to Bruce and intriguing for the wider society.Tsunamis often ravage the island of Kyushu, so with a strong base of his airplane home on land, Bruce believes it will be a tower of strength for the locals. Bruce hopes people will see this mission as a turning point in their thinking and eventually decide to come on board to rescue old aircraft. After, they can withstand just about any stormy weather.

A Unique Aircraft
The Boeing 727-200 based in Oregon was designed and operated during the 1960s to early 1980s. It was created to sustain long enough trips and also be able to maneuver in smaller airports with shorter runways. They could operate under numerous conditions and be made to last for a longer period than other kinds.
This plane could easily accommodate up to 189 people and was designed and built with three engines. Delta Airlines’ U.S. aircraft was the closest one in size and made before the Boeing 727 was decommissioned in April 2003. Northwest Airlines also decommissioned their version in June of the same year. Iran’s Airline, Iran Aseman Airlines, is the only company operating the Boeing 727-200.
