It’s no surprise that an engineer would want to live in a project that he created as he would have spent a lot of time and passion getting the way he/she desires. This provides a sense of connection between the project at hand and the engineer as they have the chance to work directly on what they have in mind. Bruce had the ability to work on his improvement plans from within, seeing he was already living in the reconstructed dwelling.
